Blogging from the Back Line

The ins and outs of improvisation

About September 3, 2009

I am a University of Florida Theatre Strike Force alum who has been performing improv since fall 2008.

I had originally joined an improv class to improve my public speaking skills (and was scared to death during my first short-form game), but I realized right away that I loved being on stage, making audiences laugh and “playing pretend” with other students.

Like I said, I got started in Theatre Strike Force, UF’s premier improv troupe. I have performed long-form, short-form and musical improv, and I’m hoping this blog shows people how snazzy improv can be. I look forward to sharing some back line improv perspective with you!
